VetFairly is committed to maintaining a trustworthy directory of veterinary reviews. Here is what we do — and do not do — to keep the information on this site fair and accurate.
When a reviewer provides an email address, we send a confirmation link before their review is published. Clicking this link verifies that the submission came from someone with access to the email address they identified, and that the reviewer intended to submit this review. This multi-step process significantly reduces spam reviews.
Reviews submitted without an email address are reviewed before going live. If they do go live, they are not marked “Email Verified”.
Our team periodically reviews flagged content and spot-checks new submissions. A review may be removed if it contains profanity, or personal attacks; is clearly fabricated or contains demonstrably false factual claims; advertises a competing practice or service; was submitted by someone with a conflict of interest; or violates our Terms of Use.
We do not remove reviews solely because a practice finds them negative. Critical but honest feedback from genuine clients is protected and valuable to the community.
We prohibit reviews written by competitors, and anyone compensated to leave a review.
If you believe a review violates this policy, use the Report button on the review card and select “Conflict of interest”. We will investigate.
We are a small team and cannot investigate every submission. Email verification confirms a real inbox exists — it does not confirm the reviewer’s identity or that the described visit occurred. Please treat reviews as one data point alongside your own research.
VetFairly does not verify veterinary licences or credentials. Always confirm a vet’s qualifications independently before booking.
